Culture Vulture Zine : CV DJs

Back in the day CV was more than a sarcastic football blog.

Culture Vulture Disc Jockey’s have manned the turntables in various capacities since CV begun as a zine debuting humbly in Clwb Ifor Bach Cardiff on a bill for an Attack and Defend gig in 2006.

Back then Nick could still run and Gavin's beard was more of a stubble.

CV DJs are: Nick and Gavin. Although it is extremely rare, they have also been known to appear in solo form.

Embracing all elements of counter culture, CV DJs play a rush of warped music from a spectrum quite vast which would be ridiculous to list. Listeners have been known to detect MP3 based psychedelics sharing a cross fader with CDR hip hop jams capable of hospitalising the ears.

Like CV was in print, CV DJs are passionate aficionados who play only music which would entertain themselves.

CV DJs use: CDRs/RW, The Algoriddim ‘dj’ Ipad app and other portable MP3 devices. CV DJs believe that a DJ is only as good as the next track he/she lines up and not how much vinyl he/she owns, equipment, groupies, requests or reputations.

Please do not be alarmed when/if CV DJs arrive at your event with no visible equipment.
